What exactly is UX ...

It took me long time to understand y we r not applying minds on assignments and what are we gonna do after that ...

Like all I am great fan of Apple products and trying to analyze what makes apple so special.
The role of designer that influence product ....

Which leads me to understand What UX is all about and how can we include it in work.

The Hot Crazy scale

Barney Stinson has given us so much. So many great quotes, thoughts, posters, things to look around… do you ever feel like you need just a little more Barney?
FYI , if you haven’t noticed Barney has a blog: Barney’s Blog. Now my main purpose in this is not to promote his very awesome blog is to highlight a very helpful tool that Barney introduces in Episode 5 of Season 3.
A little confused? Watch this clip from of Barney explaining the scale on How I Met Your Mother for a better understanding.

The problem is certain women’s increase in physical attractiveness has been disproportional to their increase in psychosis. Luckily for us, a chart exists where we can see just how out of balance the ratio between your hotness and craziness has become - knowledge that can prove to be invaluable over the course of your daily life.

good example of  information graphics  !!!
Please have a look at other examples for the same.

color and religion : Buddhism

After so called internal conflict(?) about joining NID ... this is my first field trip. Assignment was color study of religion . We choose Buddhism for color study and went to Kushalnagar (largest settlement of Tibetans in India,210 km from B'lore) ...
and decided to visit Golden temple to understand their culture.

With my limited understanding of Buddhism I thought they might be using very calm and cool colors e.g light blue, white and dark green .But whole journey was series of contradictions.
We could guess golden temple from 2 km apart ... their vibrant prayer with huge Dhols , 6 feet long saxophones and 500-600 monks singing at a time was pretty scary to enter.

But unlike Hindu temple, their are no barriers about how much inside you go. With a huge golden statue of Buddha and such colorful and vibrant ambiance you tend to forget yourself.( may be thats what they wanna achieve).
The most prominent color concept in Buddhism is that of the rainbow body, which is the highest level of meditative achievement(Nirvana) wherein the body is transformed into pure light.
